Malagouzia

BRIEF INFORMATION

The rare refinement of the cosmopolitan

The revival of yellow-green Malagouzia in Greece over the last twenty years has become a worldwide phenomenon, making it one of the most famous and cosmopolitan wine varieties one can enjoy. The Malagouzia of the Vourvoukeli estate is a delicate combination of taste and finesse, giving a complex and highly aromatic wine. On its label, one of the rarest species of birds in the world, the Cephalopod (Oxyura leucocephala), with a population of no more than 13.000 individuals worldwide, has taken over. In Greece, it is found only in Lake Vistonida.
