Mavroudi

Mavroudi Red

BRIEF INFORMATION

As one of the oldest grape varieties of the country and historically oldest variety of Thracian land, the dry Mauroudi OF Thrace manages to steal the taste impressions thanks to its purple hue, the aromas of red fruits and its intense tannic character. wine that is etymologically associated with the dark black colour of the grapes from which it is produced.
A wine with a strong personality, like the wild boar (Sus scrofa) that dominates the label, which is a protected species of the wider area of the Vistonida lagoon, connecting in turn the current vineyard of this variety with the pig forest that was once there.
