LAGARA WHITE

Lagara White

BRIEF INFORMATION

This wine was given the name “Lagara” which in the local dialect of Avdira, means clean and pure water (it comes from the ancient Greek adjective lagaros, which means clear and pure). The varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Damiatis, follow a separate vinification process and are combined after the end of fermentation, at a suitable moment, providing, as a result, an explosive aroma and a rich body. In its aroma, exotic fruits (pineapple, lychee) prevail and are followed by green currant aromas as well as notes of asparagus. It is full-bodied and rather acidic, with a long-lasting aromatic aftertaste.
