BRIEF INFORMATION

A melodic name, full of the charm of ancient words and old sources of Avdira. Centuries ago, the people who lived here called everything clean and clear “lagaro”. “Lagares “” said their sources – “LAGARA” we called this wine – a source of taste, aroma and pleasure “by marrying” the varieties sauvignon blanc and Damiatis, which are united after the end of fermentation, at the right time, giving a result of explosive aroma and rich body, which blend with the soft touch of elegant French oak.

Pure, golden color

 

Bouquet

A pure, fruity bouquet with aromas of exotic fruits and citrus.

 

Taste

A dry taste with a high level of acidity, a rich body, and a full taste, while its aftertaste is of average duration.

VINIFICATION

White wine vinification, with separation of the free circulation juice, cold extraction, static debourbage, and fermentation of the clear must at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C. The wine remains with its wine lees, in order to achieve greater body in the final result and then, the Sauvignon Blanc and the Damiatis varieties spend four to six months in oak barrels, depending on the harvest. Their long-lasting alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.

The vineyards are located in Avdira, at the southeastern end of the Protected Geographic Indication area.
